Glasses and Face Masks

Fogging of Eyewear

The warm air of your breathing escapes from the top of your mask and lands on the cooler surface of your lenses.

How to Prevent It:

1. Fit your mask to your face

Try to better shape the mask to the bridge of your nose or tighten around the ears if possible If there is no adhesive, try some medical or athletic to close the gap between the bridge of your nose and the mask

2. Wipe/Clean your lenses

Simply use dish soap and warm water to gently wash your lenses. This prevents some of the build-up of water droplets which will fog your lenses

3. Adjust your glasses

Push your glasses down further on your nose, or...pull your mask up further on the bridge of your nose.

Hopefully this helps a bit. Please keep wearing safety glasses as well!
